I am a thirty-something freelance writer from New Jersey who is rarely seen without a notebook, pen, and camera in tow. After all, I'm of the belief that you just never know what you might see or hear - it might make for a good writing project, so it's best to be prepared! I am a passionate writer and a voracious reader who also enjoys photography and scrapbooking.
My tastes in books, movies, and music are somewhat eclectic, encompassing a wide range. My favorite bands and solo artists include Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, The Mamas & the Papas, Wilson Phillips, and the Beach Boys.
My favorite movies include comedies like Uncle Buck and A Christmas Story, dramas such as Finding Forrester and Music of the Heart, kids' fare such as My Girl and Kit Kittredge: An American Girl, and the classic horror flicks The Shining and Poltergeist.
Being a writer and avid reader, I've developed a penchant for YA novels and memoirs but will read just about anything. My favorite books include local fare such as The Goffle Road Murders by Don E. Smith, Water Signs by Daria DiGiovanni, and And the Violin Cried by Susan Clark, classics such as The Diary of Anne Frank and children's books such as the Ramona books by Beverly Cleary and The Baby-sitters Club series by Ann M. Martin.
