When I was a kid in the Eighties, Danger Mouse was one of my favorite television shows. It was a British cartoon that aired on Nickelodeon from 1981 until 1992 and chronicled the exploits of secret agent Danger Mouse, a white mouse with an eye patch, and his perpetually frightened hamster sidekick named Penfold. Receiving their orders from Colonel K, Danger Mouse and Penfold attempt to rid the world of evil, usually stemming from the devious plots of their arch nemesis Baron Silas Greenback and his henchman Stiletto (and Baron's cute but equally evil-minded white caterpillar, Nero). Danger Mouse is silly, funny, and witty, and is still my one of my favorite cartoons to this day! I've had the first four seasons on DVD for years now and just ordered the DVD set of the 5th & 6th seasons on eBay (an incredibly unbelievable bargain at just $1.95).
